Between September 1st and 4th, Pier Mauá, in Rio de Janeiro, will be the stage for two major events linked to innovation. Hacking.Rio, which promotes an innovation marathon (hackathon) with several professionals linked to programming, joined this year to Blockchain Rio Festival, in an unprecedented partnership.

RNP will be part of the Blockchain Rio Festival schedule, with a panel to talk about its initiatives in this area. The panel “Partnership Opportunities in Research and Development and Education” will be moderated by Innovation analyst Felipe Nascimento, with the participation of Deputy Director of Research, Development and Innovation Leandro Ciuffo and the coordinator of the Blockchain Technical Committee, Renato Duarte.

About Hacking.Rio

The fifth edition of Hacking.Rio has something new: it will be held in the metaverse, an environment developed exclusively for the Hackathon. The marathon will run for 42 hours and will launch challenges based on one or more UN Sustainable Development Goals.
