Since 2002, RNP has been improving its management of R&D programs, carried out through this open innovation process. The results achieved over these years are the fruit of the important partnership of RNP with the academic community. The differential this year is the inclusion of the innovation ecosystem in the collaboration of this development, whether by creation of new startups or supporting existing startups, together with the academic community.

" I am very happy to see such a notice being released. In the university, we still have a lot to learn from the process to transfer the technology generated in the laboratories to startups and companies. For the economy of the country, this is very important. My expectation is that this process will improve so that it can occur naturally in an environment totally adequate for innovation. "

"This notice is a pioneer of RNP, with direct impact on the population of creators, developers and scientists. This will dictate how they will be able to absorb this opportunity and bring their knowledge to new products and services, with competitiveness for the country and put internationally known institutions, such as RNP at the frontier, as generators of products and services, not only for science and technology, but for innovation as well.
