RNP's Point of Presence in Rondônia (PoP-RO) holds, in a face-to-face format, the second edition of the State Network Technologies Workshop (WTR-RO), on 6/29 and 6/30. The meeting takes place at the Federal University of Rondônia (Unir), in Porto Velho, and is aimed at managers and technical teams in the ICT area of the main public and private teaching and research institutions in the state.

The two-day program will be very diversified, covering topics such as: IPv6, ransomware attacks, backup service, use of AI in research related to fish in the Amazon, RNP initiatives in Rondônia, among others. Participants will also have the opportunity to train themselves through courses and workshops offered within the schedule of the event.

“We are happy to promote this important event, especially after so long without sharing knowledge and gathering information about what we are doing and mainly debating what we need to do to improve our participation in this mission, which is a team effort, both on the part of RNP and the PoP-RO, as well as the partners and suppliers that together promote this partnership”, highlights the administrative coordinator of the PoP-RO, André Freitas.
