RNP takes part in a technical visit to learn about the textbook production line of the National Textbook Program (PNLD)
Upon invitation from the National Fund for the Development of Education (FNDE), RNP mobilized itself to accompany the technical visit to learn about the production line of the textbooks that are part of the PNLD 2023 public notice, whose construction is being made possible through the PNLD DIGITAL Platform, under development by the organization.
The technical visit took place on 11/25 in the city of Guarulhos, in São Paulo, and was attended by Solutions manager Roosevelt Benvindo, and Digital Projects manager for Customers, Alberto Yasuda.
In addition to RNP, the FNDE technical team, representatives of the Federal University of Alagoas (Ufal) and Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), who also have partnerships with the FNDE to improve the public policy of the PNLD, participated in the technical visit.
For Solutions manager Roosevelt Benvindo, accompanying the technical visit was very important because it was possible to observe the manufacturing process of thousands of textbooks that will be distributed in public schools throughout Brazil. In this way, the presence reinforced the feeling of grandeur of the PNLD's public policy, which is being made possible through the PNLD DIGITAL Platform being developed by RNP.
For the manager of Digital Projects for Clients Alberto Yasuda, getting to know the textbook production chain from the creation and inscription of the works to the preparation phase for distribution of thousands of works throughout Brazil, gave an insight into the complexity of the logistics so that books arrive in schools. RNP is supporting the FNDE in building the PNLD Digital Platform so that teachers and students can access books in digital format, in addition to the physical book.
