OpenRAN@Brasil promotes the first technical workshop for the industry

- 19/12/2022

On December 16, OpenRAN@Brasil held the first technical workshop for the industry. The meeting took place virtually and was attended by representatives from Lenovo, IBM, Dell, Huawei, Ericsson, Siemens, in addition to the Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (Abinee) and NEC. The workshop aimed to clarify doubts and open space for industry collaboration in the program.

In addition to the status of the program, which aims to support the development of 5G in the country in a safe way, with high availability and performance, participants were able to learn about three case studies involving the testbeds (experimentation environments) of the program.

Currently, the program is in the testbed construction phase, with the expectation of entry into operation in the first quarter of 2023.
