MonIPÊ is a network monitoring service able to measure the quality of end-to-end data transfers for collaborative research very precisely. The tool enables network performance assessment and measurements, such unidirectional and bidirectional delay, loss of packs and outflow in different approaches. The MonIPÊ tools are compatible to the international monitoring standard perfSONAR, whose main benefit is better management of the measurement results.

Where can I access?
The service is aimed at network performance specialists, who can perform measurements among different domains, among institutions connected to our network and among research laboratories, nationally and internationally.
Today, in Brazil, there are MonIPÊ measurement points in all states, where the academic network is present. You can also install measurement points for temporary connections by means of low-cost hardware platforms for on-demand use at your institution.
How to access?
To monitor your network performance and find potential data transfer issues, just access the service portal and run tests on a web interface.
