About SIGs and Rute
SIGs are an initiative promoted by the Telemedicine University Network (Rute, in Portuguese) to promote debates, case discussions and even distance classes, through videoconference or web conferencing, stimulating the integration and training among health professionals at different levels of vocational training.
Rute is an initiative of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications (MCTIC), supported by the Financing of Studies and Projects (Finep) and coordinated by RNP, which aims to improve projects in telemedicine, public universities and university hospitals (HUs).
