Developed by RNP, the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education is among the ten best digital initiatives of the federal government, according to the iBest award. The cloud technology solution was created to meet a demand from the Ministry of Education (MEC), in order to make life easier for students seeking a place in public universities in the country.

The portal brings together, at a single location, the Unified Selection System (Sisu), the University for All Program (Prouni) and the Student Financing Fund (Fies) and is part of a MEC project of the same name that has as benefits digital security, modernity, transparency, user participation, integration, intelligence, monitoring and economy.

About the award

Considered one of the biggest awards on the internet, iBest began to include in its votes the digital initiatives for the provision of services by the federal government that stood out, mainly, for their enormous adoption, efficiency and practicality.

On 7/8, the organization of the award announced the TOP 10 initiatives. At this stage, two parallel votes are held – one according to popular perception and another through a jury of specialists (the iBest Academy). The three best-placed initiatives advance to the iBest TOP 3 Phase, being able to compete for the title of Best in Brazil by the Popular Jury and/or by the iBest Academy Jury.
