RNP joined the Open Networking Foundation (ONF), a not-for-profit, community and telecom operators-led consortium that aim to foster and democratize innovation in programmable and software-defined networking, using disaggregated infrastructures and open source software.

The partnership is part of the OpenRAN@Brasil program and allows RNP to collaborate with ONF projects and have early access to non-public versions of the entire ecosystem of developed software, such as the Aether platform, an open source solution designed to simplify deployment and operation of 5G private networks in the most diverse applications.
