RNP's Point of Presence in Rio de Janeiro (PoP-RJ) resumes its face-to-face events with the Network Technologies Workshop (WTR-RJ), between September 21st and 23rd, at the Brazilian Center for Physical Research (CBPF), in Rio de Janeiro.
The objective of the event is to share knowledge and experiences between the institutions that are part of the construction of the state's academic network and its partners. The meeting is aimed at managers and technical teams in the area of information and computing technology (ICT) from the main public and private teaching and research institutions in Rio.
Registration is free and open. The program includes short courses, lectures and a round table. All activities will be face-to-face, with transmission of the lectures and round table on the CBPF YouTube channel.
“Our expectation for the event is to strengthen the partnership with the entire academic community, mainly the IT community. We really like this exchange of technical information between the teams of the partner institutions, it is very important to listen and discuss our projects and ideas with the community”, says the administrative coordinator of the PoP-RJ, Marita Maestrelli.
