OpenRAN@Brasil holds the second technical workshop for the sector

OpenRAN@Brasil held, on April 18, the second technical workshop for the sector. The objective of the event was to present an overview and demonstration of technologies related to the program, such as the control of Passive Optical Networks defined by software and DWDM Optical Networks. The meeting took place virtually and was attended by representatives from Lenovo, Datacom, Huawei, Vivo, TIM, ANATEL, Oi, NEC, among others. The workshop had about 50 participants.

In March of this year, RNP launched the program's first public call for tenders aimed at the academic sector so that working groups could be formed to cooperate in the development of the OpenRAN@Brasil testbed. The objective is to advance in the development and addition of functionalities and technologies of the test environment.
