After the launch of the notice of the Advanced Services Research and Development Program of 2021, in June of this year, RNP announces the four Working Groups (WGs) selected for the first phase of the Program, to be developed between January and December of 2022.

The notice invited the scientific community and also startups to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) over a 12-month period. Learn more about the proposals:

- WG-PDC-RCI: Digital Coordination Platform - Integrated Care Network

Coordination: Marlene Sabino Pontes (PUC-RIO)

Collaborative digital platform to enable communication between healthcare professionals and their patients for follow-up and information sharing for continuous care in post-discharge recovery.

- WG-LANSE – Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC)

Coordinator: Cristian Cechinel

Associated startup: Elimu Social

Academic risk prediction service (evasion and/or failure) supported by a cloud infrastructure that preprocesses data, trains and executes machine learning algorithms.

- WG-DEVIAS – Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA)

Coordinator: Cesar Marcondes

Associated startup: Netconn Group

Service to support secure development and operation (using DevSecOps) through a portal that receives source code, analyzes vulnerabilities through the cloud and security reports indicating the vulnerabilities found.

- WG-ReabNet – Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU)

Coordinator: Eduardo Naves

Associated startup: Technocare

Telerehabilitation Network through Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (ReabNet) comprising a repository of rehabilitation systems and assistive technology remotely accessible by hospitals, rehabilitation centers or even from the user's home.

Selected WGs will have 12 months to create a Minimally Viable Product (MVP). The WGs of Phase 2 of the Advanced Services R&D Program are underway, with completion forecast for 12/31/2022.
