See the works presented at the CSBC2021 involving RNP testbeds

Last Friday (23/07), during the 41st Brazilian Computer Society Conference (CSBC 2021), RNP was present for the sixth consecutive year with WFIBRE (FIBER Workshop). The meeting presented initiatives for the use of experimental platforms (testbeds) to support scientific research in Brazil.

The network scientist Michael Stanton and the academic and scientific advisor of RNP José Rezende participated as keynote speakers with the topic "The impact of experimentation in the quality of academic research". During the opening, the director of RD&I of RNP, Iara Machado, highlighted the importance and the role of academic networks in support of experimental research.

"It is an evolution and construction to be able to offer this cyberinfrastructure organized for experimental research as only RNP does. This has a huge value," said Iara Machado.

During the event, RNP demonstrated the use of such cyberinfrastructure for experimentation in computer networks, distributed systems, cybersecurity, Blockchain, IoT, among others. They incorporate the new RNP testbed service, which offers these computational resources in an integrated way to meet demands specific to the scientific community.

Researchers also presented seven selected papers selected by the call published by RNP, with reports on the use of platforms for experimentation and support to RD&I in various areas of knowledge. Check them all out:
