RNP was present at the CONSECTI & CONFAP National Forum, held in São Luís (MA) between the 14th and 16th of June. On 6/15, RNP's general director, Nelson Simões, presented the organization's main projects and a new program on Digital Transformation in ST&I. "The RNP System will deepen the lines of action for interiorization in the States, cybersecurity, digital training and data platforms for ST&I, under the coordination of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI)". During three days, the forum brought together presidents of the 27 State Research Support Foundations (FAPs), state secretaries of Science & Technology, and representatives of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), in addition to federal and international agencies that promote ST&I and embassies. The event had the objective of promoting international cooperation and the debate of priority themes of science and technology policy in Brazil. 

This edition of the forum was held jointly by the National Council of Secretaries for Science, Technology and Innovation Affairs (CONSECTI) and the National Council of State Research Support Foundations (CONFAP), in partnership with the State Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation of Maranhão (SECTI/MA) and the Foundation for Research and Scientific and Technological Development of Maranhão (FAPEMA).
