The ESR has started testing for activation of the first pole of training in Mozambique, Africa. The goal is to bring the knowledge of the Brazilian academic network experts to Africa. The action is the result of a partnership between RNP and the Mozambican academic network, MoRENet.

Over two weeks, the transmitting and receiving tests were performed to simulate the transmission of a class which requires six megabits to ensure image quality in HD pole. Given the results, it was found that it is feasible to classes distributed operation between Brazil and the Pole of Maputo, in the capital of Mozambique.
