RNP invites researchers to the 2023 Network Monitoring Program
RNP launched, this Friday (03/03), a call for proposals so that researchers can submit projects related to the monitoring and analysis of networks. The initiative is part of the Network Monitoring Program (PMon) 2023, which aims to promote technological prospecting in the measurement area.
The Network Monitoring Technical Committee (CT-Mon), created by RNP in 2011 to monitor the main technical-scientific advances in the area, through technological prospecting. The objective of the program is to foster a continuous interaction of the academic community so that inputs are provided, both conceptual and practical, for the evolution of the services offered by RNP, such as, for example, MonIpê.
Interested researchers must submit project proposals that can be developed in up to five months, of an experimental or conceptual nature. The topics of interest are listed in the announcement and include topics such as the Internet of the Future, computer networks, cloud computing, among others. Participants must be linked to teaching and research organizations based in Brazil.
The deadline for submitting proposals ends on 4/15 and the results will be announced on 5/1. To contact the technical committee during the formulation of proposals, the email is ct-mon-coord@rnp.br.
