This year's event will have a hybrid program, with a face-to-face meeting in Brasília and live transmission over the internet.  

Registration for the 2023 edition of the RNP Forum is now open. This year, the event will be face-to-face again after three years of being held only in an online format. The meeting will take place from August 29th, at the Royal Tulip Hotel, in Brasília. Tickets to follow the main program online will be free. Applications for remote or face-to-face participation must be made on the forum website. 

Promoted by RNP (National Education and Research Network), the objective of the Forum is to stimulate the debate on the directions of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education and research in Brazil. The theme of this edition is Emerging Applications in Education, Science and Culture – technologies with great potential, already used in several businesses and initiatives (such as distance learning), but which can evolve even further.  

“We will have lectures and panels with experts, who will address the latest technologies and trends in ICT. We will also have the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge, in an environment conducive to exchanging perspectives and networking”, points out RNP's Deputy Director of Solutions, Cláudio Fabrício, who is also one of those responsible for managing this year's RNP Forum. 

Held annually since 2012, the RNP Forum features a robust program, with lectures, panels, workshops and flashtalks. In addition, the event will feature an exhibition area for solutions and the participation of important names in the ICT area.  

“We have great expectations for this edition, as we believe that we will have a very enriching and productive event, with a diversified hybrid program and high-level speakers, in addition to the participation of major players in the technology market (bigtechs) as well as, for the first time, A space for startups. We hope to make the most of this unique opportunity for learning and interaction, and that we can leave the event with new ideas and inspiration to implement innovative solutions in our institutions and projects”, explains Claudio Fabrício. 

In 2022, the RNP Forum had almost two thousand subscribers. Last year's theme was cybersecurity and privacy.
