The Technical Committee for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (CT-CDIA), created by RNP in 2022, aims to be an open discussion forum to study the future of data science and AI applications, in the most varied areas of research, but with an emphasis on applications of interest to the RNP System, such as education, culture, telemedicine, cybersecurity, computer networks, open science, open access to research data and improvements in organizational processes.

The call invites CT-CDIA members and the Brazilian research community to submit project proposals in line with the latest version of the vision of the future document published by RNP and that can be developed in up to 6 (six) months, based on the topics of interest listed in the document.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 04/12. CT-CDIA will hold a public web conference to answer questions about the public notice on March 28, at 9:00 am (Brasília time), which will be broadcast at this link. The selected proposals will be announced on 05/01.

The R&D program for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is a CT-CDIA initiative to expand its capacity for technological prospecting by funding short-term projects to carry out studies and proof of concepts on the topic of CDIA. It is expected that the results of the projects can serve as input for discussions about future investments in R&D and for the evolution of the services offered by RNP.
