Last Tuesday (6/28), the Ministry of Education (MEC) launched two initiatives aimed at students, educational institutions and managers of educational programs throughout Brazil: the Rede Aprender platform and the Jornada do Estudante application. The first was developed through a partnership with the National Education and Research Network (RNP) and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes).

The solution will integrate the main sets of education data from students, education professionals, teaching institutions and educational program management, in an integrated manner, in order to build the so-called National Platform for Interoperability and Data Analysis of Brazilian Education, which will be interconnected with other information systems, such as the Sucupira Platform from Capes, the Academic Management Platform of the institutions themselves and the also created Jornada do Estudante application.

The integration of the platform will take place gradually until it becomes the only national interoperability infoway in the field of education. In the future, this platform will share data between educational institutions and perform analyzes with more transparency to society.
