Present at the 16th National Technical Meeting of Book Programs, held in Belém (PA), between 6/7 and 6/10, RNP presented the PNLD Digital platform, which is under development and whose first modules made available by the organization are being used for the new notices of the National Textbook Program (PNLD).

“The great challenge of the project is related to time, taking into account that we have public notice deadlines that must be met and there is no room for delays. In this way, RNP has been working with the vision of delivering the platform in modules and with the dynamics of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)”, says Solutions manager Roosevelt Oliveira, who was at the event alongside Systems analyst Felipe Marinho.

According to Felipe Marinho, the event also served to collect information that could be transformed into insights within the evolution process of the platform being developed by RNP, as we took advantage of the workshops to learn about and understand the demands and needs of the educational networks for the DIGITAL PNLD.

Both participated in a debate round about the partnerships signed for the modernization of the PNLD and presented the prototype of the Textbook Portal (PNLD Digital). In addition to RNP, representatives from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) participated in the table, and also made presentations of application prototypes for the modernization of the program.

About the event

The 16th National Technical Meeting of Book Programs aimed to discuss, evaluate and plan the execution of the PNLD. The opening of the event took place with the speeches of the Minister of Education, Mr. Victor Godoy, from the Secretary of Basic Education, Mr. Mauro Rabelo and the Director of Educational Actions of the FNDE, Mr. Garigham Amarante, contextualizing the importance of modernizing basic education in the country.

In addition to RNP, representatives of the National Union of Municipal Education Directors (Undime), the Council of State Secretaries of Education (Consed), the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep), the Comptroller General of Union (CGU), the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), the Federal Court of Audits (TCU). Also participating are technicians responsible for implementing the PNLD in the education secretariats, as well as directors and technicians from MEC and FNDE.
