RNP, in partnership with the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR) and the RNP Point of Presence in Rio Grande do Norte (PoP-RO), announces the 1st edition of the Network Technologies Workshop of PoP-RO. Held 100% online, the event takes place between 26 and 27/08 and is targeted at ICT managers and technical teams of the leading public and private institutions of education and research in the state of Rondônia.

With topics such as digital exclusion, teleworking, and remote education in the pandemic, the WTR will present six lectures, in addition to a Workshop on Privacy by Design and a mini-course on IPv6. André Luis de Souza Freitas, director of Unir, and Ari Frazão Júnior, associate director of Engineering and Operations of RNP, will open the event. The event will also offer lectures about GDPR, the challenges of the home office, cloud services for educational institutions, among others.

"The network technologies Workshop of PoP-RO is an opportunity to build knowledge and bring our partners together, even in a moment of isolation. The main thing is to exchange knowledge between teams of partners and customers in the state of Rondônia, debating issues that are part of our daily lives.
