RNP selects a coordinator for the new Artificial Intelligence Committee

On Monday (14/06), RNP published a call to select candidates to fill the position of coordinator for the new Technical Committee on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for a period of 12 months. Researchers with leadership profiles and recognized expertise in both subjects apply up to 11/07.

The Technical Committee on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (CT-CDIA) aims to be an open discussion forum to study the future of data science and AI applications in the most varied areas of research, but with an emphasis on applications of interest to the RNP system, such as education, culture, telemedicine, cybersecurity, computer networks, and improvements for organizational processes.

Since 2010, RNP has organized Technical Committees for Technological Prospecting (CTs), which are discussion forums formed by researchers from several academic and research institutions in Brazil with the goal to prospect technological solutions and make recommendations in an advisory capacity.

Currently, RNP coordinates four Technical Committees in the following areas: Management of digital identities, Networks Monitoring, Blockchain, and Digital Health.

For the position of coordinator of the CT-CDIA, the researcher should have prior experience participating in RD&I projects funded or carried out by RNP. Applications must be submitted by email personally by the candidates to the address ct-cdia-coord@rnp.br.
